Hi every one I'm a Singaporean student applying for engineering PhD programs in US. All of the schools I've applied to do not require TOEFL for students educated in Singapore except for UT Austin.
I've asked the graduate admission office which in turn referred me to the program office. When I contacted the program office the officer referred me back to the graduate admission office. Both parties did not give me a definite answer.
The earliest TOEFL test date available is in late January which is beyond the application deadline of Dec 15.
Does anyone has a similar situation before and managed to circumvent it? Thanks in advance!
